Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.
You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.
-Psalm 30: 2,11&12
This talk is different from all the others! In each of my topical presentations, I share information, instruction, and challenging takeaways along with a little bit of my story.
This particular talk is my story.
More inspirational than educational, “My Song” is a thirty-minute talk about living in Christ’s abundance. You’ll learn how the Lord took me on journey from an anxiety disorder to a speaking and writing ministry. You’ll also hear my main ministry message about how we all have spiritual clutter that we can clear out with a little organization and a lot of prayer.
As always, my sincere prayer is that you’ll leave my presentation feeling uplifted and blessed, and I believe that this talk delivers that in a unique way!
I’d love to be the “keynote speaker” at your special event: breakfast, luncheon, tea, dinner, dessert night… even something that doesn’t involve food! In fact, this talk is for everyone—even the guys in your life—so you can have me as the guest speaker at your church service or invite your whole church to a special Organizing You Event.
And if you’re planning a longer event, this talk is a fantastic way to begin it! “My Song” can easily be combined with one or more of my other talks to create a wonderful women’s retreat.

Shannon shares her heart song story in such a moving and inspiring way that you’ll begin to long to clear out the spiritual clutter in your own life! I was so moved by her story that I was inspired to host her Bible study with a group of friends. Her message makes you want to get organized and clear away the clutter that keeps you from living a full and abundant life in Christ.
-Chris, working mom of two
Shannon’s “My Song” talk was incredible. She shared it with a group of our clients, friends and family members and we absolutely loved it. You should definitely have her speak to your church group or at any other event at which you want to inspire and encourage those who attend!
-Matt Palmer, The Joseph Group
A special note to Moms’ groups: Unless you’re hosting a special event and inviting all of the women of your church and community to attend, this probably isn’t the talk for you. It’s more of a “one time only special appearance” thing. My other topics are more educational and better suited to a moms’ meeting setting.
